    Dear SWE Members and Friends,

Please join us on Wednesday, December 10th for a PPS Holiday social at 5695 Vantage Vista Dr. Be prepared to have fun! Please bring your spouse, roommate, co-worker, or any guest that might appreciate good company and tasty snacks. RSVP to 273-1242 by December 8th.

Our November mentorship activity and career panel with UCCS was a rousing success, with a diverse group of attendees. The room was full, the snacks were generous, and everyone learned something new! Several students made contacts for internships, and the advice given was relevant to both professional and student members.

With the new year will come plenty of opportunities to celebrate, to learn and to network. We will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of our charter in January. Stay tuned for event details. The Region I Conference has a power-packed agenda, with session topics that have broad relevance to all of us. There will be exciting speakers, professional development, and insight into how SWE has made a difference in our region.

Have a safe and happy holiday season.

    Kathleen Watson
